Therapeutic activities which help to remove emotional hindrances are given so that the child’s growth becomes free, fearless, independent and clear. By the time the child reaches six years, the disturbed child becomes quieter, reflective, less aggressive and ready for intellectual learning.
A period of intellectual learning with conceptual learning, basic learning skills, memorising tables and spelling, developing reading and writing skills and creative writing. Projects on Science, Mathematics and language are readily accepted.
A period when physical and social growth are more predominant. Teenagers enquire about life, relationships, people and self. Group discussions, stories, novels, role play and events help them express doubts, fears, feelings and emotions honestly and gain clarity for the next step in life.
